How to Delete Your Data

You can request deletion of your data from Iris in the following ways:

1. Disconnect your Instagram account — Go to Settings and disconnect your Instagram account. This immediately stops all data syncing.
2. Remove Iris from Instagram — In the Instagram app, go to Settings → Security → Apps and Websites → Remove Iris. This automatically notifies us to delete your data.
3. Email us directly — Send a data deletion request to support@useiris.dev with the email address associated with your Iris account.

What Gets Deleted

• Your Instagram connection and access token
• All synced content data (captions, metrics, thumbnails, transcripts)
• Your creator profile
• Your AI content analysis data
• Any content shared in the Iris discovery network

Your Iris account (Google Sign-In) will be retained unless you explicitly request full account deletion.

Timeline

Data deletion requests are processed within 30 days. In most cases, your data will be removed within 48 hours. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Deletion Confirmation

If you were redirected here from Instagram with a confirmation code, your data deletion request has been received and is being processed. No further action is needed.
